These past years anti-gender movements towards LGBTI+ communities around the world have made great efforts to redefine key terms used in international human rights law to protect these minorities. After some successful bills were passed in Africa, this movement also had some victories in Europe and America, challenging there too the definition established in international human rights law.
This conference will gather experts on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression and sex characteristics from various fields (diplomacy, international organization, courts, academia), to discuss how definition can be crucial for the protection of sexual, gendered and sexed minorities around the world.
Entrée libre sur inscription dans la limite des places disponibles.
Cette conférence en anglais est proposée dans le cadre des Programmes Courts Internationaux de l'Université.
